My journey begins, Part 1 mentorship

Blog#1

first step in a journey Mentorship....
how My journy started,

Let's see it all started when I was condemned to summer school I had to complete a geometry course and a English course at options for youth where my instructor Cristine graded my work and such. Of course my parents being real estate agents also had things to do so I was busy helping take care of lil' sis in the car while dad stressed out about a house that would seemingly fall apart every time we visited. Like when we showed the first time it was OK the house had minor things to worry about, things that could be managed like a few switches that wouldn't do much or a hole in the ceiling for a light bulb of some sort small things. then we come the next time and the house had places where things were quite literally falling off hinges doors put on upside down or a cabinet with it's screws not touching anything, well you get the point we visited quite a bit. Now just because I had that going on take that I had been ready to take that as an excuse well no. I first was going to be a cellist but I tried like five different music instructors (trinity music and a few others I forgot to write down most near my house some a little further.) and they all wanted a minimum of at least 50 to 70 $ an hour it seemed cheap but mom and dad calculated expenses and found we wouldn't be able to pay some of our utilities if we were to do such a thing. So music lessons were not an option then we had the wonderful idea of a man by the name of J. Brown a instrument creator whom sells, repairs, and creates instruments from his store which just so happens to also be named J. brown in Clarmont was offering lessons in the art of creating instruments over the summer. Unfortunately it was too good to be true I was sixteen at the time of offering so I was but two years too young to be covered by his insurance so I had to trash the Idea. giving up on the music idea completely I decided that culinary arts were starting up so that I might want to try cooking classes. I was also helped by our family friend who offered a friend of hers who had another line of work serving people in need in places like India. I kept that just in case I wanted to try it out another time so there was some thickheadedness on my part. being at summer school I thought I was set on the culinary arts course they had there until it occurred to me (With help from  Eddie Silva councilor) that it might not be acceptable because of the fact I might not have enough time to complete the course and how would I calculate hours if in fact the course did work out. So that idea of taking cooking courses at OFY were flung aside...Now left with no other option I have to see what I can do during the school year.

now the next question is the ten hours I belive the ten hours would be to get our "feet wet" so as to get set in that profession in case it isn't something we're set upon. so if we were to find a job The india thing for me if I were to actually take some classes from the woman over skype and i realised that the images were to gastly for me to see I would know that it wasn't for me or it would push me to try and help there fore the ten hours would be helpful it would be sort of like a job discriptiion after the job description.

Now the plan for finding the mentor ship now is to look to see if there are any ROP courses, or mentorship in any subject including cooking(might try a few resturants or try the Cooking ROP classes),cello classes(might try an old freind in the performance buissness) or music composition(might try an music teacher's freind.).
